KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 6.50 g, 3 h), uncertain mint in Macedon, circa 323-310. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [Α]ΛΕΞΑΝΔΡ[ΟΥ] Bow in bow-case and club; above, inverted Δ, below, grape bunch. Price 284. Deposits on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
